Job Summary
Red Maple Montessori, a respected educational institution located in Islamabad’s F-7 sector, is seeking a compassionate and energetic Toddler and Daycare Teacher to join its dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
The Toddler and Daycare Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities designed specifically for toddlers and young children. These activities should foster curiosity, learning, and development in line with Montessori principles. Providing attentive and responsive care is essential, including supporting each child’s emotional and physical needs throughout the day.
Daily routines such as feeding, diaper changing, toilet training, and managing nap schedules will be part of the role, ensuring children’s comfort and well-being. Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and child-safe classroom environment at all times is critical to uphold health and safety standards.
Regular communication with parents is required to keep them informed about their child’s daily activities, routines, and overall progress. The teacher will also document observations related to each child’s development and behavior accurately to support individualized care and learning plans.
Collaboration with other teaching and support staff is necessary to ensure smooth daycare operations and a cohesive educational experience. The teacher must adhere strictly to Red Maple Montessori’s policies, routines, and Montessori educational philosophy to maintain consistency and quality in childcare.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. A minimum of two years’ experience working in daycare or childcare settings is essential to demonstrate familiarity with young children’s needs and developmental stages.
Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and Montessori methodology is required to effectively deliver the curriculum and care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment is also critical, as this role involves close cooperation with other educators and support staff to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Proficiency in English is preferred to facilitate clear communication with parents and staff. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs45,000 to Rs50,000, complemented by a bonus awarded every three months as part of the compensation package.
