General Manager – Accounting & Finance (Group Level)

Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned finance leader to oversee and manage the finance and accounting functions across all group companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities to develop and implement financial strategies, controls, policies, and procedures that align with the group’s business objectives. The finance leader will manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, taxation, and compliance activities at the group level, while also coordinating with external auditors and regulatory authorities. Additionally, this position involves leading ERP implementations or upgrades and managing a team of finance professionals to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise finance and accounting functions across all group companies, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements timely and in full compliance with IFRS standards.
- Develop and implement robust financial strategies, internal controls, policies, and procedures to support overall business goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes at the group level, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management to maintain financial stability across the group.
- Manage all taxation matters, including income tax, sales tax, and corporate compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth audits and compliance checks.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and present insights and findings to the Board of Directors and senior leadership teams.
- Identify potential financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to protect company assets.
- Lead ERP implementation projects or upgrades of financial systems to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering continuous learning and performance excellence.

Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred; however, ACCA or MBA in Finance candidates will also be considered.
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position at the group or corporate level.
- Strong expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), taxation, and regulatory frameworks applicable in Pakistan.
- Proven track record managing finance functions for diversified business operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Compensation: Rs500,000 to Rs800,000 per month
