Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our dynamic e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or digital marketing. This full-time, onsite role is based in Johar Town Phase 2, Lahore, Pakistan, with working hours from 12 PM to 9 PM, Monday through Saturday. The primary focus of this position is to craft engaging, original content that supports brand growth and enhances the customer experience across various digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
The Content Writer will be responsible for producing clear, compelling, and original content tailored for product pages, category pages, blogs, email campaigns, landing pages, and social media channels. Collaboration is essential, working closely with marketing, SEO, and product teams to ensure content aligns with business goals and seasonal campaigns.
Conducting keyword research and applying SEO best practices will be critical to improving organic search rankings and increasing visibility. The role also involves regularly updating and refreshing existing website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Maintaining a consistent brand voice and tone across all communication platforms is vital. The Content Writer will assist in creating promotional copy for advertisements, banners, and paid media campaigns. Monitoring content performance through data analysis and feedback will guide adjustments to optimize results.
Staying updated on e-commerce trends, competitor content strategies, and innovations in digital marketing is expected to keep the content fresh and competitive.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A strong portfolio showcasing experience in product copywriting, SEO articles, and digital content creation is essential.
Excellent command of English, including grammar and storytelling techniques, is required. Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console is necessary to effectively implement SEO strategies.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Shopify is advantageous. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
A basic understanding of e-commerce key performance indicators (KPIs) and digital customer journeys will be considered a plus.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
Candidates with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS will have an advantage. Experience working within niches such as fashion, beauty, technology, or home goods is preferred.
An understanding of content personalization and customer segmentation strategies will enhance the effectiveness of content campaigns. Familiarity with AI content tools or established copywriting frameworks is also beneficial.
