Job Summary
Ana and Batla Industries, a reputable manufacturer of Bona Papa diapers, is looking to hire a skilled Slitting Machine Operator with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. This full-time position is located in the Landhi Industrial Area of Karachi, conveniently near General Tyre and Yunus Textile. The role requires operating slitting machinery efficiently during a 12-hour shift, which includes 8 hours of regular duty plus 4 hours of compulsory overtime. The work schedule alternates weekly between day and night shifts. Salary details will be finalized after the interview. The company also provides subsidized lunch and offers a generous leave policy.

Key Responsibilities
The Slitting Machine Operator will be responsible for managing the entire slitting machine to ensure seamless production flow. This includes performing routine inspections and maintenance to keep the machinery in optimal condition. The operator must strictly follow safety protocols and quality standards throughout the operation. Efficient performance during assigned shifts, including the mandatory overtime hours, is essential. Candidates will be required to participate in interviews, skill tests, and trial runs as part of the selection process.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering, accompanied by a complete marksheet. Candidates should have between 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience operating slitting machines and be capable of running the full machine independently. The preferred age range for applicants is 18 to 27 years. Immediate availability to join is a must.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preference will be given to candidates residing in nearby areas such as Korangi, Landhi, Malir, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, or Shah Faisal. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 48,000, subject to confirmation after the interview. Of these, 20 days are cashable if not utilized, providing additional financial flexibility.
