Job Summary
We are looking for experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executives to join our finance team. The ideal candidates will have strong proficiency in Excel, fluency in English, and solid experience working with QuickBooks Online. This role primarily supports the US-based accounting team by assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements. Candidates must be capable of working independently while ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and reporting financial data using advanced Excel tools such as Pivot Tables. You will perform variance analysis, reconciliations, and assist with month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Maintaining precise accounting records and supporting the preparation of financial statements are essential duties of this role.
A significant part of the position involves working extensively with QuickBooks Online. Experience with the ODOO ERP system is considered an advantage and will enhance your ability to manage accounting processes efficiently. You will coordinate closely with the US finance team, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration to support operational needs.
Compliance with accounting principles and internal control procedures is critical. The role requires you to operate independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of two years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is essential. Advanced Excel skills are required, including proficiency with Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis techniques to handle complex financial data.
A strong understanding of double-entry accounting and financial reporting standards is necessary to perform the role effectively. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to interact with the US finance team and prepare clear financial documentation.
The ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver accurate results within deadlines is crucial for success in this position.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Professional certifications such as ACCA or an equivalent qualification are highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset. Experience with the ODOO ERP system is a plus, as it will facilitate smoother integration with existing accounting processes.
Prior experience coordinating with international teams, especially US-based finance departments, will be advantageous and help ensure effective collaboration across time zones and cultural differences.
