Mern Stack Developer (React Native)

Job Summary
Zeta Corp is looking for a proficient MERN Stack Developer to join our ecommerce client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js and a strong command of the MERN stack—MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js—along with React Native for mobile app development. This role involves building scalable web and mobile applications, designing responsive user interfaces, integrating RESTful APIs, and optimizing application performance. The developer will also manage full-cycle deployments and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to seamless user experiences across multiple platforms while delivering maintainable, high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web and mobile applications using the MERN stack and React Native.
- Create responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces utilizing React.js, React Native, Redux, Tailwind CSS, and Material UI.
- Design and implement backend services with Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful APIs.
- Manage authentication and authorization workflows, including JWT-based security protocols.
- Work extensively with MongoDB and Mongoose to design and manage efficient databases.
- Optimize application performance and ensure smooth, reliable deployment processes.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, QA, and other stakeholders in an agile development setting.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
- Utilize development tools such as Git for version control, Docker for containerization, Postman for API testing, VS Code for development, and Firebase for deployment and backend services.

Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer specializing in the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in backend development with Node.js and RESTful API integration.
- Proven experience in building web and mobile applications using React.js and React Native.
- Solid understanding of frontend technologies including Redux, Tailwind CSS, and Material UI.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Mongoose for database design and management.
- Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as JWT for secure user management.
- Proficient in using development and collaboration tools including Git, Docker, Postman, VS Code, and Firebase.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in agile teams and deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- This is a full-time, in-person role offering competitive monthly compensation ranging from Rs 100,000 to Rs 150,000.
