Job Summary

DSV is looking for a committed professional to join our team full-time, supporting global transport and logistics operations. This role requires close collaboration with client supply chain teams to ensure seamless shipment arrivals and efficient customs clearance. Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with client supply chain teams to coordinate shipment arrivals and ensure timely processing. This includes reviewing pre-alerts and verifying shipment documentation necessary for customs clearance. You will be responsible for ensuring advance Goods Declaration (GD) filings are completed accurately and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prepare all required documentation.

Monitoring Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) is critical, along with obtaining quotes and maintaining clear communication with various stakeholders such as forwarders, carriers, custodians, and billing parties. You will share checklists with clients, secure their approvals, and ensure GD filings are finalized. Coordination with operations teams will be necessary to conduct assessments when required.

You will confirm that customs duties are paid either by clients or through DSV finance under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms, including performing credit checks. Monitoring the Out of Charge (OOC) status and planning shipment releases accordingly will also be part of your duties.

Additional responsibilities include raising billing instructions, ensuring invoicing is completed promptly, and dispatching complete document sets to consignees via courier. Post-clearance documents must be scanned into the electronic document system (E-Doc).

You will manage client PD accounts and handle cost and revenue postings in the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system. Following up with accounts for approval and release of documents to customers is essential. Finally, you will courier all documents along with debit notes to customers and maintain proof of delivery (POD) files.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree and have approximately 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong understanding of IT systems are essential. The role demands excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and effective communication.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving processes is crucial for success in this position.
