Job Summary
Dot Media is looking for a talented and results-oriented Social Media Strategist & Content Writer to join our vibrant team at our Islamabad office located in D-Chowk, F-6/4. This full-time, on-site role is perfect for someone who is passionate about storytelling, content creation, and keeping pace with the ever-evolving digital landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content across various social media platforms while driving strategic initiatives to boost brand visibility and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities
You will be tasked with developing and executing effective social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. Your role will involve writing captivating captions, blogs, video scripts, advertisements, and posts that resonate with each platform’s unique audience. Staying updated on the latest digital trends, audience behaviors, and algorithm changes is essential to optimize content performance.

Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with design and video teams to plan and coordinate monthly content calendars. Monitoring and analyzing content performance through insights and analytics tools will help you refine strategies for better results. Additionally, you will engage with the community by responding promptly and professionally to comments and messages, ensuring a consistent and authentic brand voice in partnership with clients and internal teams.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Media, Marketing, Communication, English, or a related field. Strong writing skills in both English and Urdu are essential. You should have a deep understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and current trends. Proficiency in creative storytelling and content planning is required.

Experience with SEO writing, ad copywriting, and social media management tools is necessary. Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Canva, ChatGPT, Google Analytics, and similar applications will be highly advantageous. Excellent research skills, along with effective time management and multitasking abilities, are critical to succeed in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in content writing or social media strategy will be preferred. A portfolio or writing samples will be requested to showcase your expertise. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive starting salary beginning at Rs50,000 per month.
