Job Summary
This role is pivotal in representing GIFT University by providing detailed and accurate information about the university’s admissions processes, degree programs, and career opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with parents to support students in their educational and career planning journeys. Acting as the university’s ambassador, the individual will participate in public events and exhibitions to promote a positive image and engage prospective students. The position involves organizing and conducting intake tests and interviews, managing admission campaigns, and maintaining comprehensive records using educational software. Effective communication with students, parents, faculty members, and Heads of Departments is essential to ensure a smooth and transparent admissions process.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver thorough and clear information regarding GIFT University’s admissions procedures, academic programs, and career pathways to prospective students and their families.
- Collaborate closely with parents to guide and support students in making informed decisions about their education and future careers.
- Represent the university at various public forums, events, and exhibitions, ensuring a professional and welcoming presence.
- Organize and administer intake tests and interviews, followed by timely reporting of admission decisions to relevant stakeholders.
- Handle inquiries efficiently through multiple channels including phone calls, emails, and walk-in visitors, providing prompt and accurate responses.
- Maintain daily records of admissions activities and applicant data using designated educational software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with faculty members and Heads of Departments to stay updated on admission schedules, requirements, and any changes affecting the process.
- Manage admission campaigns by distributing prospectuses, conducting follow-up communications, and tracking prospective student engagement.
- Serve as a direct point of contact for students, facilitating smooth communication and resolving any admission-related questions or concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institute or university is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in admissions, student counseling, or a related field.
- Male candidates are preferred for this position.
Job Type and Compensation
- This is a full-time position.
- The starting salary is Rs. 50,000 per month.
