Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented fresh graduate to join our Procurement Department at Bahria Town Lahore. Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include assisting the procurement team in sourcing products and services in line with company policies. You will prepare and process purchase orders, Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines will be a key part of your role, alongside monitoring supplier performance and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Coordination with internal departments is essential to understand procurement needs and deadlines effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining procurement records and regularly updating supplier databases to ensure accuracy. Tracking and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services is another critical task.
Additional duties include assisting with invoice matching, managing delivery documentation, and conducting basic contract reviews. You will also conduct market research and price benchmarking to support informed procurement decisions. Ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations is mandatory to maintain operational integrity.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those with less than one year of relevant internship or work experience.
A basic understanding of procurement principles and supply chain processes is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required. Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling are critical for success in this role. Good communication and interpersonal skills will help you collaborate effectively with team members and suppliers. Above all, a willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Internship or academic project experience related to procurement or logistics will be considered a plus. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is advantageous but not mandatory.
