Job Summary
Al Haadi Mobilya, a prominent furniture manufacturer located in Lahore, is looking to hire a meticulous and proactive Procurement Executive. This full-time, onsite position is integral to the procurement team, focusing on sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the supply of materials and components necessary for furniture production. The successful candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain strong supplier relationships, and balance quality with cost-efficiency to support uninterrupted production operations.
Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Executive will assist in sourcing a variety of materials, including hardware, fabrics, and furniture components from both local and international suppliers. They will be responsible for preparing and processing purchase orders, quotations, and all related procurement documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintaining up-to-date procurement records and regularly updating the internal database is essential for smooth operations.
The role requires proactive follow-up with vendors to confirm orders, lead times, and delivery schedules, ensuring that goods arrive on time. Coordination with the warehouse, production, and accounts departments is necessary to facilitate the seamless flow of materials. Monitoring inventory levels and raising purchase requests based on stock requirements will help prevent production delays.
Under the guidance of the Procurement Manager, the executive will support negotiations related to pricing, terms, and delivery timelines. They will verify that all received items meet the required quality and specification standards before acceptance. Additionally, the role involves assisting in supplier performance evaluations and maintaining a comprehensive vendor database. Daily administrative procurement tasks and generating relevant reports will also form part of the responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. They must have between 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within the furniture or manufacturing industry. Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills are essential to succeed in this position.
A basic understanding of procurement processes and inventory management systems is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and procurement-related software tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Willingness to work full-time onsite at the Lahore location is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with ERP or inventory management software is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage. Knowledge of furniture materials and components will also benefit candidates in this role. The ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is important.
