Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee the management of civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and MEP materials for ongoing projects. This full-time role is critical to ensuring seamless project operations by managing deliveries, verifying purchase orders, and maintaining precise records of all material movements. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and MEP teams to coordinate material issuance schedules and support project handovers. Strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and strict adherence to compliance standards are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the inventory of materials across civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and MEP disciplines, ensuring all stock is accurately tracked and maintained. Receive incoming deliveries, carefully verifying purchase orders against quantities, specifications, and compliance certificates to ensure accuracy and quality.
Issue materials based on approved requisitions, documenting custodian details, dates, and purposes using scanning technology to maintain an auditable trail. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all material receipts and issuances to support transparency and accountability.
Organize and store critical documentation such as warranties, datasheets, As-Built drawings, safety certificates, and test certificates, ensuring easy accessibility for project teams. Coordinate issuance schedules with engineering, procurement, and MEP departments to align material availability with project timelines and milestones.
Lead monthly and quarterly physical inventory audits, promptly identifying and reconciling any discrepancies to maintain inventory integrity. Train and supervise store staff, ensuring adherence to proper procedures and documentation standards to uphold operational efficiency.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the storage and handling processes. Optimize storage layouts to maximize space utilization and improve accessibility, contributing to smoother warehouse operations.
Support project handover and commissioning phases by providing complete and accurate asset records, facilitating a smooth transition and project completion.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience in inventory management within civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or MEP sectors. A strong understanding of material handling, verification processes, and documentation standards is essential.
The ability to conduct thorough physical audits and efficiently reconcile inventory discrepancies is required. Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements is critical to maintaining a safe working environment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are necessary to coordinate effectively with multiple teams and manage complex inventory systems. Proficiency in using scanning tools and inventory management software is expected to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in training and supervising store personnel is highly desirable, as is the ability to optimize storage layouts to enhance operational efficiency.
This position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs60,000. The role requires in-person attendance at the work location, fostering close collaboration with project teams and hands-on management of materials.
