Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Network and Server Administrator to join our team and provide end-to-end support, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades for both corporate customer networks and internal server environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing network infrastructure components such as LAN, VPN, VLAN, routing, and switching, ensuring they operate at peak performance with strong security measures in place. This role demands hands-on experience in server hardware installation, application integration, and administration of third-party software solutions. Additionally, the administrator will monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, define network policies, and recommend system improvements to enhance overall infrastructure reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades for corporate customer networks and internal servers.
- Manage and maintain network components including LAN, VPN, VLAN, routing, and switching to ensure seamless connectivity and security.
- Install new server hardware and integrate applications to meet evolving business needs.
- Monitor systems and software, applying necessary updates and patches to maintain stability and security.
- Administer third-party applications to guarantee uninterrupted operation and compatibility within the network environment.
- Maintain network security protocols and ensure reliable, secure connectivity across all systems.
- Continuously monitor network performance metrics such as availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; conduct vulnerability assessments and testing.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords, ensuring proper access control and compliance with policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end users in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Define, document, and enforce network policies and procedures to maintain consistent operational standards.
- Specify system requirements and design tailored solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct research on server system administration best practices and provide informed recommendations for improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a network administrator with practical expertise in networking, routing, and switching technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems, including Domain Controller (DC), Additional Domain Controller (ADC), DHCP, DNS, and related services.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware vSphere.
- Solid understanding of best practices for managing, controlling, and monitoring server infrastructure.
- Ability to effectively set up and configure server hardware to meet operational requirements.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working with firewalls, Internet VPNs, remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is highly desirable.
- This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of up to Rs55,000 per month.
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Lahore prior to starting work.
