Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Credentialing Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this critical role, you will oversee the administrative aspects of credentialing within our facility, ensuring that all staff members maintain the necessary certifications and accreditations year-round. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate credential files, tracking expiration dates, and collaborating closely with various departments to uphold compliance standards. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential to support the efficient management of our credentialing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in credentialing information by conducting timely follow-ups.
- Prepare and present credentialing applications to the facility’s Credentialing Committee for review and approval.
- Provide assistance and respond to credentialing inquiries from both internal staff and external customers.
- Address health plan provider inquiries related to credentialing promptly and professionally.
- Accurately capture and maintain primary source documentation within computer databases.
- Ensure all credentialing data is securely backed up to protect sensitive information.
- Comply rigorously with all relevant laws, regulations, organizational policies, and procedures governing credentialing activities.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a Credentialing Coordinator or in a comparable administrative role within healthcare or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders, including staff, committees, and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, to manage documentation and reporting efficiently.
- Strong touch-typing skills with the ability to maintain concentration during extended periods of data entry and review.
- Relevant training or certifications related to credentialing coordination, validating your expertise in this specialized area.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. The role requires working night shifts from 6 PM to 3 AM, so candidates must be comfortable with this schedule and commuting to the location. The monthly salary range for this position is Rs70,000 to Rs110,000, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the role within our organization.
