We are looking for the position of Experienced Accountant to be based in our Lahore office to manage the work done for UK office..

The Role

  • Oversee and manage a team of bookkeeping
  • Oversee the delivery of quality information to senior managers and to the other departments within the practice
  • Build relationships throughout the practice to ensure cohesive working between bookkeeping team and departments such as accounts, payroll and tax.
  • Alongside the Director, identify and deliver process improvements and drive positive change, focusing on efficiencies and output.
  • Review of VAT returns, bookkeeping files and supporting schedules.
  • Ability to resolve internal and external queries arising from bookkeeping review.
  • Review of detailed management accounts.
  • Deliver training, guidance and development of the team .
  • Review timetables for timely bookkeeping/management accounts delivery
  • Preparation of FRS 102 1A standard accounts and FRS 105 accounts
  • Produce draft tax computations and a provision for inclusion in the accounts
  • Fulfill any relevant additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Excellent VAT knowledge to include:

  • Cash Accounting
  • Invoice Accounting
  • Partial Exemption
  • Flat Rate Scheme
  • Margin Scheme
  • Export/Import VAT and Duty
  • Property Rules

  • Proven management and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple tasks.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required.
  • Excellent management accounting skills.

Experienced in following accounting software

  • Excellent knowledge of Xero essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel essential.
  • Good knowledge of QuickBooks preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of other accounting software
