Accounts Intern / Assistant

An accounting intern's responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and maintaining financial records. They also work with clients and other teams to build relationships and provide support.

Responsibilities

Financial analysis: Examine data to identify trends, assess financial health, and support business decisions
General ledger: Analyze expenses, prepare entries, and reconcile monthly accounts
Balance sheets: Complete balance sheets and present them to the company
Cash flow: Follow up on the company's cash flow and plan and receive payments
Invoices: Issue invoices for clients
Expenses: Control expenses according to the budget
Client relationships: Sit in on client meetings and assist in building relationships
Project support: Provide support to a variety of teams throughout the agency
