Lab Assistant

An established FMCG manufacturing company is looking for a dedicated Lab Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry along with relevant experience in the cosmetics manufacturing industry. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, especially in maintaining HALAAL and ISO documentation, while also supporting product development activities. The position is full-time and based on-site, with a preference for candidates residing in or near the Korangi industrial area to ensure smooth operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage HALAAL and ISO documentation to ensure full compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular verification and checks on documentation and retained product samples to uphold quality control.
- Support product development processes by applying chemical knowledge and laboratory techniques effectively.
- Monitor and verify the quality and consistency of cosmetic products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate closely with production and quality assurance teams to maintain regulatory and safety standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry.
- Proven experience working within a cosmetics manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of chemical properties and laboratory procedures relevant to product development.
- Familiarity with HALAAL certification requirements and ISO quality management systems.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and perform detailed sample inspections.
- Preference for candidates residing in or near the Korangi industrial area to facilitate on-site work.
