Lead Solution & Application Architect

The Lead Solution & Application Architect at Jazz plays a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications, primarily targeting private cloud and on-premises environments with hybrid cloud integration capabilities. This position requires deep expertise in Node.js backend architectures alongside modern frontend frameworks, with Flutter as a key technology. The architect will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and product owners to deliver efficient, future-ready solutions aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Experience with .NET, Spring Boot, and AI-assisted development tools adds significant value to this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and design scalable enterprise applications using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS frameworks.
- Develop high-performance backend systems integrated with Flutter or other frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Define and implement API strategies including REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and Socket.io, focusing on security, performance, and scalability.
- Prioritize deployments in private cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring compliance, security, and high availability.
- Facilitate hybrid cloud deployments by integrating private cloud and on-premises infrastructure with public cloud services.
- Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to support scalable private cloud deployments.
- Design efficient and scalable data models using SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Lead the adoption of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Establish and enforce security best practices, covering IAM, OAuth2, JWT authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and data encryption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Explore and integrate AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs, or custom AI models to improve development efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and guide teams in adopting modern software development and deployment methodologies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in solution or application architecture with strong expertise in Node.js.
- Proven experience with on-premises and private cloud deployments, including integration with public cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks like Express.js and NestJS.
- Full-stack development skills with strong knowledge of Flutter and other frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API security, and middleware technologies.
- Strong experience with SQL databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Practical knowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Streams.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
- Experience with DevOps practices including automated deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with .NET (C#) and Spring Boot (Java) frameworks is a plus. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs, and AI-driven DevSecOps, will be advantageous.
