Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Online Tourism Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the overall online experience for our customers, providing them with valuable information, and assistance, and ensuring their journey through our virtual tourism platform is seamless.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries via online channels, including chat, email, and social media.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information on various travel destinations, attractions, accommodations, and activities.
Assist customers in planning and booking their travel itineraries, offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Stay informed about travel trends, industry updates, and new destinations to provide informed assistance to customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the online user experience and identify areas for enhancement.
Update and maintain content on the online platform, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Monitor online reviews and feedback, addressing customer concerns and sharing positive testimonials with the team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
Familiarity with online booking systems and travel-related technology.
Passion for travel and a comprehensive knowledge of popular tourist destinations.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle challenges with a positive attitude.
Proficiency in using communication and collaboration tools.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
