Finance Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer to join our team. The Finance Officer will play a key role in managing the financial health of the organization by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen and excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate financial records and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering relevant data and preparing financial models.
Participate in discussions with lenders to secure loans and manage the company’s debt portfolio.
Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
Support the Finance Manager in ad-hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
