Manaal Foods Private Limited, a leading export-oriented company specializing in the trade of high-quality agricultural products, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, compliance with local and international financial regulations, and supporting the company’s growth through effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and other financial reports.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
Accounts Management:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank accounts and financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, and prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets.
Export Documentation & Compliance:
- Handle financial aspects of export documentation, including invoicing, shipping bills, and letters of credit.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export documentation requirements.
- Manage export-related financial transactions and liaise with banks for timely processing.
Taxation & Audit:
- Manage tax-related activities including filing of sales tax, income tax, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for statutory audits and compliance reviews.
- Implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Financial Planning & Strategy:
- Assist in the development of financial strategies to support the company’s export activities.
- Participate in financial planning and budgeting for new projects and international ventures.
- Provide financial insights and risk analysis for potential new markets and customers.
ERP & Accounting Software Management:
- Utilize accounting software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, or any ERP system) to maintain accurate financial records.
- Generate financial reports from the system and ensure data integrity and security.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification like ACCA, CA, or CPA is a plus).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an export-oriented business.
Strong knowledge of international trade finance, export documentation, and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with financial management in the agricultural or food processing industry.
Knowledge of foreign exchange regulations and export incentives.
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations applicable to export businesses.
