The Program Controller – Hatchery Operations is responsible for managing and overseeing vaccination programs in hatcheries, including injection and spray vaccination processes. The role ensures the implementation of company standards, adherence to biosecurity protocols, and smooth coordination between hatcheries and the VSE team.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Program Management:

  • Planned, implemented, and monitored vaccination programs in hatcheries, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Oversee both injection and spray vaccination procedures to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure hatchery teams are trained on the correct handling and application of vaccines.
  • Monitor the performance of vaccination teams and ensure smooth execution of assigned tasks.

2. Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Maintain strict adherence to biosecurity and hygiene standards in hatcheries.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure vaccination accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of vaccination equipment, including injectors and sprayers.
  • Implement corrective actions in case of deviations from standard procedures.

3. Coordination & Communication:

  • Act as a bridge between the VSE team, hatcheries, and management for smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with hatchery managers to schedule vaccination programs based on production plans.
  • Report daily activities, challenges, and program effectiveness to the Operation Manager – VSE.
  • Address operational issues, workforce allocation, and logistical challenges related to vaccination.

4. Training & Development:

  • Ensure team members are updated with the latest vaccination techniques and biosecurity measures.
  • Conduct periodic refresher training sessions for continuous improvement.

5. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain records of all vaccination programs, including batch details, vaccine usage, and team performance.
  • Prepare and submit reports on program execution, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor vaccine stock levels and coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment.
