We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with specialized experience in fuel system projects to join our team. The successful candidate will possess strong fabrication expertise and a comprehensive understanding of material standards, welding techniques, and safety regulations related to fuel handling. This role involves planning, designing, and supervising the fabrication and installation of fuel tanks and associated piping systems, ensuring strict compliance with industry codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and oversee the fabrication of fuel tanks, ensuring compliance with relevant codes such as API and ASME standards.
- Develop and review engineering drawings and specifications for fuel tank structures and piping layouts.
- Manage on-site installation of fuel tanks and related piping systems.
- Select appropriate materials, valves, flanges, pumps, and fittings suitable for fuel applications.
- Coordinate with fabricators, welders, and site contractors to ensure quality workmanship.
- Conduct inspections, pressure testing, and quality control checks on tanks and piping systems.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during fabrication and installation phases.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety standards, particularly those related to handling flammable materials.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Collaborate with procurement teams for material sourcing and vendor evaluation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fuel tank fabrication, installation, and piping projects.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, cutting, and assembly.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API 650, API 620, ASME B31.3, and other relevant codes.
- Practical experience with piping design, isometric drawings, and P&IDs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software is advantageous.
- Effective communication and team coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certification in welding inspection (CSWIP, AWS-CWI) or piping inspection is highly desirable.
- Experience working with fuel handling facilities such as petrol pumps, generator tanks, and industrial storage systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
- This is a full-time remote position offering a starting salary from Rs100,000 per month.
- Candidates with 4 years of mechanical engineering experience will be given preference.
