We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Tool & Die team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing tooling and die solutions for manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development: Design and develop tooling and die solutions for manufacturing processes, including creating detailed designs and specifications.
2. Project Management: Manage projects from concept to completion, including collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery.
3. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to tooling and die making, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth implementation of tooling and die solutions.
5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tooling and die making, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong technical knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including design, development, and testing.
4. Proficiency in CAD software: Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with CNC machining: Experience with CNC machining and programming.
2. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
3. Certification in tooling and die making: Certification in tooling and die making or a related field.
