Assistant Manager HR is responsible to do the following activities: 

Recruitment & Selection:

  • Evaluate the “Workers Demand” received from the departments as per company hiring policy.
  • Conduct job analysis to identify the roles and responsibilities of required positions.  
  • Suggest and design programs to enhance the employee’s productivity and efficiency.
  • Prepare employee turnover and suggest programs to reduce employee turnover.
  •  Ensure that employee data and files are updated and maintained.
  • Suggest programs for employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain log of workers’ demands received from the HODs. Maintain CV bank on a regular basis.
  • Prepare advertisements for required positions.
  • Arrange interviews and facilitate the panel for the interviewing process.
  • Ensure and follow up to complete the joining formalities as per policy.
  • Conduct employee orientation program to raise awareness about company policies, management structure and organization organogram.
  • Develop better HR /employee relationships.
  • Ensure that the policies & procedures are observed by the employees.

HR Operations:

  • Monitor compliance of HR policies and procedures and highlight the non-compliance areas to the HR manager for improvement.
  • Conduct “Overtime & Payroll Ratio” analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Report extraordinary trends i.e. Excessive OT, low productivity, and absenteeism to the HR manager for Management reporting and suggest plans to improve these areas.
  • Recording of accidents/incidents that occurred on the workplace.
  • Prepare, update, and keep employee job description records.
  • Proceed the process of employee transfer and promotion.
  • Coordinate with HR Manager to arrange meetings to promote awareness of policies and executive orders.
  • Compile up and review of loan, welfare and gratuity applications for further proceeding to HR Manager.
  • Take initial action against the employee for any misconduct for a further report to HR Manager and compile up inquiry report if required.

Social Compliance – SA 8000 / Social Standards

  • Coordinate with Senior Manager HR to plan, develop and implement the strategy for social compliance (child labor, forced labor, non-discrimination, harassment, wages & benefits and business ethics etc.) with the help of HR Staff.
  • Coordinate with Senior Manager HR to prepare documentation as per SA-8000 / WRAP, HSE or any other Social Compliance standard, and to implement.
  • Conduct Risk Assessment associated to different Jobs &, Workplaces.
  •  Keep and maintain the First Aid record.
  •  Any other tasks related to compliance as per requirement of the standards and customers code of conduct.
