The role involves supporting daily operations related to ticketing and sales under the supervision of the Assistant Traffic/Sales Officer (ATSO) or Traffic/Sales Officer (TSO). The incumbent will be expected to learn and proficiently use Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Computer Reservation Terminals (CRT), and other relevant travel portals. Key responsibilities include preparing travel itineraries, fare calculations in compliance with airline rules, and staying updated on the latest airline regulations and government policies affecting air travel.

 Responsibilities:

  • Will work under guidance and supervision of ATSO/TSO.
  • Learn GDS & CRT other portals.
  • Handle day to day assignments related to ticketing & sales.
  • Develop good relation with colleagues, passengers and travel agents.
  • Keep all correspondence/business matters related to our business strictly confidential.
  • Preparation of itinerary, fare calculation according to the rules.
  • Be aware of latest rules and instructions issued by various airlines from time to time.
  • Should be well conversant with policies of government for passengers travelling by air.
  • To understand how important to promote our sales with efforts and conduct.
  • Any other official task assigned by the Management & Authorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a professional environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
  • Familiarity with airline industry practices and government travel policies is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using online portals and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
