We are looking for a dynamic professional to support field implementation, monitoring, and reporting under the ISD Project. The role includes ensuring quality and timely reports from implementing partners, conducting field visits, building staff capacity, validating data, and supporting financial compliance. The candidate will coordinate with partners and UNICEF teams, facilitate meetings, document case studies, and assist in risk mitigation to ensure smooth project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1: Reporting and Data Management:

  • Quality assurance of implementing partners reporting (reporting templates and data).
  • Follow-up of monthly and need-based reports from IPs.
  • Coordinate with the implementing partners for quality, frequency, completeness and timeliness for progress reports.
  • Share the monthly reports with the provincial and Islamabad leads.
  • Regular field validation of ISD data and work with reporting to UNICEF.
  • Liaison with ICIMS staff and UNICEF M&E for data reporting for ISD Project.
  • Assist PTL UNICEF in preparing reports on ISD data.

2: Monitoring and Supervision:

  • Regular project monitoring visits of IPs; Shifa, PPHI, and WASH (if applicable).
  • Regular supervisory field visits based on plan/schedule prepared on monthly/biweekly basis with approval from PTL/OIC.
  • Communication and reporting of all fieldwork to the relevant supervisors.
  • Develop improvement plans based on the findings of data, field visits etc. and track the implementation of the plans in coordination with the IPs.

3: Capacity Building and Training:

  • On-the-job training to partners' field staff where needed

4: Coordination and Meetings:

  • Ensure smooth coordination between IPs with regards to referrals and data sharing etc.
  • Call for the coordination meeting, document action points and follow up.

5: Financial Oversight:

  • Assist UNICEF Polio PTL/OIC in ensuring quality assurance of the financial transactions (FACE forms and payment).

6: Case Studies and Documentation:

  • Development of Case studies from the field

7: Risk Management:

  • Risk management - Develop and implement risk mitigation measures for non-availability of staff on duty, availability of trained and unsupervised workforce; compromised safety, security and well-being of workforce; financial and management issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Health, or a related field. Candidates with relevant experience in the Polio Eradication Initiative (PEI) are highly encouraged.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in public health, with at least 1 year specifically in EPI/PEI or maternal and child health initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully analysing and writing for a broad range of audiences.
  • Previous working experience with COMNet and or working at district/DPCR level will be an added qualification.
  • Proven interest and knowledge of EPI/ PEI issues is a definite asset.
  • Good interpersonal and communication spoken / writing skills

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict
  • Good command of report writing and documentation
  • Familiarity with local languages and community dynamics
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and data validation tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and travel within assigned areas
