We are currently looking for a motivated Business Developer with experience in international software sales to join our team. This role involves managing agency accounts and outreach channels to generate qualified leads and convert them into successful projects. The position requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate international clients and includes performance-based targets and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:
- Meet monthly revenue targets established by management.
- Manage and optimize agency profiles to maintain strong performance.
- Oversee sales cycles for small to mid-size software projects.
- Conduct 10 to 20 sales calls weekly with qualified international leads.
- Maintain high win rates by submitting quality proposals.
- Adapt working hours to align with US and European client schedules.
Lead Generation & Outreach:
- Send 100 to 150 personalized cold emails daily.
- Connect with 50 to 75 potential leads weekly via LinkedIn.
- Identify and research ideal clients and relevant business sectors.
- Perform consistent follow-ups with 3 to 5 touchpoints per lead.
- Keep lead tracking organized and updated within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the team to prevent duplicate proposals and bidding efforts.
Client Management:
- Manage 4 to 5 active client accounts simultaneously through freelancing platforms.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand project requirements.
- Prepare professional proposals, quotes, and scope outlines.
- Coordinate closely with the technical team to ensure accurate project estimations.
- Facilitate smooth handover of signed projects to delivery teams.
- Maintain regular communication with clients during their business hours.
Reporting & Optimization:
- Update CRM daily with client activities and status updates.
- Submit weekly activity and sales pipeline reports to management.
- Analyze lead conversion rates and recommend improvements.
- Participate in daily team stand-ups and weekly performance reviews.
- Proactively suggest ideas to enhance sales workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business.
- 2 to 4 years of proven B2B software sales experience.
- Experience working with freelancing platforms such as Upwork or Freelancer is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in managing international clients from the US, UK, or EU.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving individual sales targets.
Essential Skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong familiarity with freelancing platforms and bidding strategies.
- Proficient in LinkedIn networking and outreach.
- Effective cold emailing and follow-up communication abilities.
- Confidence in conducting sales calls via Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of software development processes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet international client needs.
Tools & Platform Knowledge
- Freelancing platforms including Upwork and Fiverr.
- LinkedIn (standard and Sales Navigator).
- Email outreach tools such as Hunter.io and Apollo.io.
- CRM platforms like HubSpot and Pipedrive.
- Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Basic familiarity with project management tools such as Trello or Jira.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary ranging from PKR 80,000 to 100,000 per month, based on experience.
