MOAM Logistics (A QUQNOOS group Company and Moby Group’s sister company) is looking for an adaptable, successful, and experienced Logistics Specialist to lead the company's expansion into the logistics industry in Afghanistan. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing a business model that will allow the company to safely diversify its business into the logistics industry in Afghanistan and increase its market share. The Logistics Specialist will also be responsible for refining the existing business model and logistics operation flows.
- Review and improve the existing business model for MOAM based on his experience in the global market.
- Utilize the existing resources and marketplace platform for logistic industry within MOAM.
- Develop and implement a business model and strategy to create an ecosystem for the logistics industry which consists of on-demand warehousing model, hyperlocal courier module, and on-demand trucking module.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve MOAM’s performance and profitability.
- Managing and leading the existing team and further building the team as per the staffing plan according to the business model.
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with local small logistics businesses (Truckers, Small Transportation Companies, Fleet partners, Agents) in Afghanistan’s logistic industry and onboard them to MOAM marketplace platform to build a network across the country.
- Conduct extensive quick research regarding Afghanistan’s logistic industry and improve the business model.
- Identifying and mitigating the risks to the company’s investment, operation, and reputation.
Job Accountabilities Linked to Objectives:
- Collect, review, and analyze the data about the Logistic (Courier, Trucking, and on-demand warehousing) industry in Afghanistan, Region, and Globe.
- Identify and present the key findings (Problem, Pain Points, Gap, and Opportunities) about the Logistic (Courier, Trucking, and on-demand warehousing) industry in the Afghanistan market.
- Jointly with Group BDM, design and propose a clear business model to MOAM Logistics (Courier, Trucking, and on-demand warehousing) business in Afghanistan market.
- Jointly with Group BDM, finalize and present the strategic planning for the courier, on-Demand warehousing, and Trucking functions of MOAM Ltd.
REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Skills & Competencies)
- Bachelor's degree in business administration with 10+ Years of work experience in the related field or master’s degree with at least 7+ years of relevant work experience in a leadership role in the logistics industry.
- Experience in developing and implementing business strategies.
- Proven experience in logistics management, especially in courier, warehouse, cargo, and Trucking operations.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
