- Assist patients in understanding the X-ray procedure.
- Position patients correctly to capture accurate diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure.
- Prepare and set up X-ray machines and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness checks on X-ray equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to the supervisor.
- Support technicians in developing or uploading digital X-ray images.
- Ensure images are labeled correctly and stored securely in compliance with medical regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and logs of imaging procedures.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and guidelines for patients and staff.
- Ensure the use of protective gear such as lead aprons and shields.
- Adhere to all medical regulations and organizational policies.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Assist with billing and insurance documentation related to X-ray services.
- Provide clerical support to the radiology department as needed.
