Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement project activities in close coordination with selected beneficiaries, engagement with stakeholders, and collaboration with the WASH Coordinator.
  • Prepare monthly and weekly work plans.
  • Manage the district-level project budget and notify the WASH Coordinator of any budget underspending or overspending.
  • Facilitate social mobilizers and field engineers during field activities.
  • Review BOQs and technical documents, sharing them with the WASH Coordinator for further action.
  • Assist the WASH Coordinator in ensuring the implementation of project activities as per the project plans.
  • Participate in monthly progress reviews at the field level.
  • Document and report project activities, findings, and updates to the Project Coordinator.
  • Support the Project Officer and project team in finalizing internal and external progress reports, including but not limited to WPRs, MPRs, quarterly reports, and donor reports.
  • Provide editorial support for reviewing reports and documents, ensuring their quality and presentation.
  • Travel to field sites as necessary to support program reporting.
  • Facilitate regular updates to the reporting calendar and follow up with the team to ensure timely finalization of reports.
  • Support the opening, review, and closing of meetings, including attendance and taking minutes at regular internal coordination meetings.
  • Comply with all internal policies, processes, and procedures, including financial management systems.
  • Maintain and regularly update the program data archive in both soft and hard formats, including proposals, contracts, and reports.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all records are maintained and stored appropriately, adhering to MA document management and IT policies.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the responsibilities of the post.
