Draftsman Responsibilities:
- Prepare both rough sketches and detailed work with CAD.
- Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings
- Prepare detailed Working Drawings
- Prepare Submission Drawings
- Prepare Shop Drawings
- Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations.
- Quantity Surveying background work will be very helpful.
- Ensure final designs are compliant with building regulations.
- Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team.
- Ability to complete tasks on time
Draftsman Requirements:
- A degree from a technical college is acceptable.
- Comprehensive experience in computer-aided design CAD and related software
- Ability to complete tasks on time and under pressure
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
- Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
