(i) Provide technical leadership and implementation support on activities related with project’s internal and external communication including development and implementation of communication strategy and communication products such as campaigns, documentaries, publications, promotional material etc.
(ii) Manage the production and dissemination of relevant information, and collect feedback from stakeholders in a manner that promotes project’s contributions.
(iii) Design, develop and disseminate appropriate promotional, publicity, and marketing material including booklets, brochures, and giveaways etc. to encourage behavior change among the beneficiaries of the project.
(iv) Develop new/ improve existing WASH materials that promote feasible and effective changes in behavior and reflect the realities of primary, secondary and tertiary audience, and which demonstrate understanding of the determinants (opportunities, ability and motivation) of hand washing with soap, having open defecation free environments, using and maintenance of latrines and safe management of drinking water.
(v) Develop new/ improve existing WASH materials that effectively incorporate gender, disability, environment and social inclusion, and which reflect an understanding of how discrimination against girls and children with disabilities can be a barrier to access to WASH facilities.
(vi) Organize awareness raising and community mobilization campaigns to sensitize the relevant stakeholders about the project interventions and their potential benefits for the public.
(vii) Develop and deliver media communication and maintain good and close working relation with the media for all the related activities of the project.
