Manager Procurement

You will be lead the procurement function, responsible for sourcing and acquiring packaging materials, technical equipment, utilities, and office commodities, both from national and international suppliers. This role will oversee the procurement team, develop strategies for optimal sourcing, and ensure all procurement activities are aligned with Nutrifactor Laboratories’ operational needs and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the procurement department, overseeing all procurement activities for packaging materials, and utilities.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
Manage relationships with national and international suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and contracts.
Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure high standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential opportunities and risks.
Ensure procurement processes are compliant with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and savings.
Manage a team of procurement officers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance.

Skills & Requirements:

Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
Strong background in procurement, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to analyze market trends and assess supplier performance.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher.
3-5 years of relevant procurement experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar sectors.

Note: Candidates with Engineering Management or Banking sector experience shall be preferred.
