We are seeking a skilled PHP WordPress Developer with at least 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites, plugins, and themes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions tailored to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins using PHP and WordPress best practices.
- Design and implement new features and functionality for WordPress-based projects.
- Ensure high-performance and availability of websites, including optimization for speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors.
- Collaborate with designers and content teams to integrate designs seamlessly into WordPress templates.
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites as per client requirements.
- Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Work with APIs and third-party services to enhance website functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in WordPress development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in PHP, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with MySQL databases and query optimization.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
WordPress Skills:
- Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, custom post types, taxonomies, and hooks.
- Experience in developing custom themes and plugins from scratch.
- Knowledge of WordPress security best practices.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Design Understanding: Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
- Tools: Experience with tools like Elementor, WooCommerce, or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
- Experience with page speed optimization and SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of server management and hosting platforms like cPanel, AWS, or Google Cloud.
