The responsibilities include:
- Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, stocking, and issuing of inventory items.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions in the accounting system.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile with system records and identify discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of inventory.
- Review and analyze inventory reports to identify slow-moving or obsolete items, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support accurate financial reporting, including inventory valuation and cost analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of inventory-related reports, such as stock turnover, aging, and valuation reports.
