We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of accounting tasks, including financial record-keeping, reporting, and assisting with audits. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • VAT/GST Filing: Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT/GST returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation of payroll, ensuring accurate deductions and payments.
  • Invoice Verification: Verify that all invoices and receipts are properly processed, categorized, and matched to purchase orders.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting, providing data and insights for decision-making.
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare necessary documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze expenses and cost structures, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with other departments.
