Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in expanding our agrochemicals business. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and achieving ambitious sales targets in your assigned territory. You will possess a deep understanding of the agrochemicals industry, a proven track record of success in sales, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets
- Manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding our customer base and market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform sales strategies
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports to senior management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agrochemicals industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
