We are looking for a highly skilled Sales Executive with extensive experience in the travel industry to lead and inspire our sales team, drive results, and ensure exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the travel sales team, providing guidance and support to meet individual and team sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives and maximize revenue.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring their travel needs are met efficiently.
  • GDS Oversight: Oversee the team’s use of GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) for bookings, cancellations, and refunds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing feedback and training as needed.
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on travel industry trends, airline promotions, and competitor activities to optimize sales strategies.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address escalated client concerns and disputes promptly and professionally.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present sales performance reports to management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Travel & Tourism, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in travel sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate travel management and GDS systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and travel booking platforms.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.

Sales Expertise: Track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets in the travel industry.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Customer Focus: Strong ability to manage client relationships and resolve issues effectively.

Analytical Thinking: Capable of analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
