We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to design, program, and implement PLC-based automation systems for industrial applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing existing PLC systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems with other automation technologies, as well as supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment. This is a full-time, contract-based position requiring on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and implement PLC-based automation systems tailored to meet industrial requirements.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing PLC systems to maximize operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PLC systems with other automation technologies.
- Develop and test control logic, sequences, and HMI interfaces for various automation projects.
- Perform system diagnostics and provide timely solutions to resolve PLC-related issues.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and conduct training sessions for operators and maintenance personnel.
- Ensure all automation processes comply with applicable safety standards and industry regulations.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new PLC systems and associated equipment.
- Continuously monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing, programming, and implementing PLC-based automation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to maintain and optimize PLC systems effectively.
- Proficiency in developing control logic, sequences, and HMI interfaces.
- Ability to perform comprehensive system diagnostics and resolve PLC-related issues efficiently.
- Experience in creating technical documentation and delivering training to operational staff.
