1. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
  2. Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  3. Help with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  4. Perform reconciliations of accounts, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
  5. Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
  6. Assist in managing payroll processing and employee expense reports.
  7. Assist with tax preparation and filing processes.
  8. Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, including balancing cash registers and petty cash management.
  9. Communicate with vendors, clients, and other departments regarding invoicing, payments, and financial issues.
  10. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  11. Help ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  12. Assist senior accounting team members with various ad-hoc tasks as required.
