We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience, specializing primarily in mobile testing while also having solid expertise in web testing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in JavaScript and possess in-depth knowledge of Appium or Detox, complemented by experience with Playwright or Cypress. This role requires hands-on involvement in end-to-end testing across both mobile and web platforms, contributing to infrastructure automation and API validation within a quality-first engineering culture. The candidate should be well-versed in Functional, Regression, Cross-Browser, Cross-Platform, Responsive, and Performance Testing (including stress and load). Familiarity with RestAssured, DevOps practices, and Terraform is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications using tools such as Playwright and Detox.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, responsive, and cross-browser/platform testing to ensure product stability and usability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to clarify requirements, understand features, and plan comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure new features are testable and meet quality standards.
- Document and report bugs clearly and thoroughly, maintaining detailed testing documentation.
- Monitor automated test executions and continuous integration pipelines, investigating and resolving test failures promptly.
- Promote a quality-focused mindset across teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and modern automated testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
- Proven experience in QA covering both mobile and web testing environments.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing, including load and stress testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and pipelines, including tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and AWS.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently within cross-functional teams while maintaining a quality-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
