Since the inception of QC services in Pakistan early 1992, the organization reflect its greater scope of work to respond to extreme poverty and the Government’s priorities. Project Summary:
Under the project, with support from WFP, Qatar Charity (QC) will be targeting socio-economically disadvantaged rural communities in Rajanpur. The project will specifically focus on integrating water resources management, including flood water management through water ponds and piloting hydrological initiatives in 10 villages of Rajanpur. At a broader level, the project will also provide trainings, communal assets, and livelihoods support to enhance resilience against economic challenges. The project activities would result in quantifiable indicators such as increased water availability, improved agriculture related activity in target villages through water supply, and household income enhancement. Field Engineer will be responsible for performing on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various systems and equipment. A strong understanding of water supply management/practices, water ponds construction, hydrological assessments and climate resilient modelling would be required to lead this project.
1. Job Summary:
Reporting to the Project Manager in the field office in Rajanpur, the Field Engineers will work at various construction sites and indoor settings. The job will require frequent travel and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate community and construction needs or respond to issues at the sites. The Field Engineer is expected to provide support to the project in accordance with organizational guidelines. Will be responsible to work with communities through organization's social mobilization unit to design construction of community water ponds and reservoirs in accordance with the organizational vision, mission, and objectives. Following this, S/he is to follow organization systems and procedures in technical issues; mainly related to organizational development.

b. Relevant experience
05 - 06 Years’ experience in same capacity.
Experience of BOQ development, instrument drawings, BOQ management.
c. Computer knowledge
MS Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint), Auto Cade

Must have a communication skill.

Flexibility to travel and work on-site at various locations.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
