The Sales Manager for Custom Printing & Packaging will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with clients, and leading a sales team. This role requires a deep understanding of custom printing and packaging solutions, market trends, and customer needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent sales, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the printing and packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the custom printing and packaging market.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to discuss project requirements and negotiate contracts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, setting clear performance goals and expectations.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activities and results.
  • Manage the sales budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.

Business Development:

  • Identify and engage potential clients through networking, industry events, and targeted outreach.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Be highly driven with respect to follow-ups and stay in the customer's sight through follow-up techniques.
  • Negotiate pricing with clients based on their targets and offer tailored solutions to clients' needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management within the printing and packaging industry.
  • Strong understanding of custom printing and packaging solutions, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead a sales team.
