The Assistant Manager IT will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth software and networking operations, and supporting the team in troubleshooting technical issues. The role requires expertise in software systems, network management, and IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Management:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications used within the organization.
  • Ensure the integration of various software solutions for seamless workflow.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in coordination with vendors and developers.

Networking & Infrastructure Management:

  • Monitor, maintain, and improve the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Ensure network security by implementing best practices, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Perform regular network performance analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Configure and maintain servers, switches, and other networking devices.

IT Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical support and training to employees on IT-related issues.
  • Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, licenses, and hardware inventory.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and resolve IT issues efficiently.

Coordination & Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with IT vendors, service providers, and consultants for system upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate and recommend new IT tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Manage IT procurement, budgeting, and cost control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, networking, and software management.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux servers, cloud computing, and virtualization.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, POS, database management, and software development processes are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
