Daily Cash Reconciliation
- Verify daily cash transactions (sales, returns, petty cash) with bank deposits, and online payment gateways.
- Resolve cash discrepancies (e.g., missing receipts, unrecorded expenses).
- Prepare and maintain daily cash book
Inventory & Cost Tracking
- Input inventory costs (raw materials, labor, shipping) for an accurate valuation.
- Track supplier invoices and payments.
Ledger Maintenance
- Update general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll records promptly.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly/monthly reports on cash flow, profit margins, and sales trends.
- Highlight key metrics (e.g., inventory turnover, gross margin per product line).
- Present findings to management and suggest actionable steps (e.g., optimizing slow-moving inventory).
Requirements Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA/CA certification preferred.
Skills & Experience
- Technical proficiency in accounting software and POS systems (Shopify) preferred
