Production Officer

As a Production Officer at SAMI Pharmaceuticals, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process of oral solid dosage (OSD) forms. You will ensure that all production activities align with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to our high-quality standards. With a focus on production planning and process improvement, you will analyze data to optimize manufacturing efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will manage and lead a dedicated team of four individuals, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and productivity while fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the production environment. Your expertise in data analysis will drive decision-making processes, ensuring that production schedules are met and that resources are utilized effectively.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans that optimize resources and efficiency.
Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all production operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct data analysis and generate reports on production metrics, identifying areas for process improvement.
Lead a team of four production staff, providing direction, training, and support to enhance team competency and performance.
Evaluate production processes, making recommendations for improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Coordinate with supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, ensuring consistency and traceability in all operations.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies to continuously enhance production processes.
