As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst, you will play a crucial role within the Finance team by working closely with multiple business units to analyze financial data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights. Your responsibilities will include planning, forecasting, addressing financial variances, and supporting month-end closing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to support financial and commercial decision-making processes.
- Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards and reports.
- Analyze business performance to uncover trends, patterns, and significant variances.
- Recommend operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Develop and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets and forecasts.
- Work alongside the accounting team to ensure accurate month-end book closure and financial reporting.
- Extract data from diverse sources such as SQL databases, APIs, and third-party tools to support analysis.
- Clean and prepare datasets to ensure accuracy and usability for reporting purposes.
- Continuously verify and maintain data quality to enable consistent and reliable decision-making.
- Conduct data analytics for ad hoc business cases and deep dives into operational and financial results.
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools including Tableau, Redash, and SQL to create insightful reports that support business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, finance, accounting, or related roles within the technology sector.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using BI and reporting tools.
- Excellent quantitative abilities and problem-solving skills.
- High commercial acumen and a solid understanding of business operations.
- Demonstrated ownership, proactiveness, and eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, Redash, and SQL.
