Join Ingredion as a Senior Sales Executive - Trade Business based in Lahore, working in a hybrid setup. Ingredion is a global leader that leverages natural ingredients to impact over 60 industries, including food and paper products. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with dealers, sub-traders, and consumers within the trade business. Your efforts will be crucial in driving organic growth and identifying new business opportunities by applying your expertise in products, market trends, and competitor activities. Reporting to the Trade Channel Manager, you will manage sales operations, oversee distribution channels, and ensure that regional sales targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Market Analysis: Collect and analyze market intelligence, maintain detailed customer profiles, and monitor sales data to stay informed about market trends and customer needs. Regularly assess distributor sales performance to meet monthly targets aligned with company objectives. Keep abreast of competitor activities and provide timely updates to management to support strategic decisions. Continuously evaluate data to identify opportunities for adding new dealers.
- Strategic Planning & Relationship Building: Conduct frequent customer and market visits to promote sales and foster strong relationships with sub-traders and their customers. Exhibit self-discipline and excellent customer relationship management skills to deliver value. Provide real-time market feedback to management and collaborate with Line Manager/Director to develop effective sales strategies. Achieve sales targets and growth goals while exploring new markets and potential dealers using established evaluation criteria.
- Manage Performance-Based Win-Win Partnerships with Dealers: Support dealer teams in enhancing their market service capabilities with Ingredion’s product offerings. Implement promotional activities and unique trade marketing tools to drive growth and maintain market share. Monitor competitor product launches and report insights for management consideration. Embrace digitalization and modernization initiatives to improve dealer business efficiency and customer engagement.
- Extend Ingredion Values to Channel Partners: Ensure compliance with Ingredion’s vision and zero-tolerance policies by coaching dealers and their staff on safety and ethical standards. Promote a strong safety culture and integrate dealers into the Rafhan Maize/Ingredion culture through engagement opportunities and sharing best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably an MBA in Marketing
- 4 to 5 years of proven sales experience with strong knowledge of B2B sales and distribution systems
- Basic understanding of costing and financial analysis to support pricing decisions
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Customer-centric mindset
