Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. This role involves end-to-end responsibility for planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing activities, including CNC programming, process optimization, tooling, and cost management. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, design, and production teams to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

The responsibilites may include following but are not limited to,

Manufacturing Operations Management

Lead and manage daily manufacturing activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of components.

Production Planning

Plan manufacturing parts and components based on production schedules and demand forecasts.

Machine Loading & Utilization

Allocate and manage machine loading to optimize resource utilization and minimize idle time.

Design Data & CNC Program Review

Review technical drawings, design data, and CNC programs for accuracy, feasibility, and manufacturability.

CNC Program Generation & Cycle Time Optimization

Develop and optimize CNC programs to enhance machining efficiency and reduce cycle times.

Process Sheet Development

Define and document detailed process sheets for both new and existing parts.

Jigs & Fixtures Design & Manufacturing

Design, develop, and coordinate manufacturing of jigs, fixtures, and tooling as per production needs.

Tooling & Inventory Management

Manage tooling and consumable inventories to ensure availability while controlling costs.

Cross-functional Coordination

Collaborate with the supply chain and design teams to align production requirements, design updates, and material availability.

Cost Estimation & Compliance

Perform cost estimation for new parts/processes and ensure compliance with internal and customer standards.

Machining Rate Control

Monitor and control per-hour machining rates to maintain budgeted cost parameters and efficiency targets.

Education & Qulifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience,

DAE/B-tech in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5-8 years of hands-on experience in the field of CAD/CAM, CNC operations, and mechanical part manufacturing.

Desired Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in CAD/CAM and MS office
Expertise in CNC Programming on milling and turning operations
Hands on Manufacturing Experience
Proficiency in Creo, Solidcam, Master CAM, NX
Hands on experience On Multiaxis programing and machining
Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemens controls
